Longreach Aviation is now recruiting experienced ATR 72 Captains with TRE or TRI experience for Kite Air of Vietnam.
Kite Air is a new operator in the booming Vietnam aviation industry and this is a rare opportunity to join a new airline and be at the front of the airline’s expansion.
Kite Air is expected to start ATR72 operations by the first quarter of 2020. The current expansion plan is for a fleet of 30 aircraft by the end of 2024, including 15 ATR-72s and 15 Airbus A320 family aircraft.
Kite Air have said there is the potential to transfer to the A320 as the A320 aircraft commence operations in the future.
Contracts are 2 years in length and renewable. Both TRIs and TREs can choose from four operational bases of Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang or Chu Lai.

- TRI or TRE certificate on ATR72-500/600
- At least 12 months TRI/TRE experience on ATR72
- Valid ATR72-500/600 rating
- Minimum 5,000 hrs total
- Last flown the ATR72 within 6 months
- Valid ICAO ATPL
- Valid First Class Medical
- ICAO English Level 4 or above
- Under 60 years of age
